Paquette's hat trick adds to Wings' long night in loss to TB, 5-1
Cedric Paquette scored three goals as the Tampa Bay Lightning defeated the Detroit Red Wings, 5-1, for their franchise-record ninth consecutive home win.
Darren Helm scored lone goal for Detroit and goaltender Petr Mrazek made ten saves before being pulled after two periods for Tom McCollum, who stopped all 17 shots he faced in the 3rd period.
The Red Wings will return home to the Joe Louis Arena this Saturday afternoon to face the New York Islanders at 2 pm.
