Lucky Jones scored 21 points, including a key free throw, Rodney Pryor had 20 points, and Marcquise Reed finished the night with 19 points to lead the #16 Robert Morris Colonials to an 81-77 victory over North Florida Ospreys in the First Four of the 2015 NCAA men's tournament.
The Ospreys got within two points with 10 seconds left, but Kavon Stewart and Jones made clutch free throws down the stretch to win the game.
The Colonials (20-14), the Northeast Conference champions, will now meet top-seeded Duke in the 2nd round in the South region this Friday in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Kendall Pollard scored 17 points as the #11 Dayton Flyers -- in front of their home crowd -- slipped by with a 56-55 win over the Boise State Broncos in the First Four of the 2015 NCAA men's tournament.
It was the first time since 1987 that a school has played an NCAA Tournament game on their home court. The Flyers went 16-0 at home during the regular season and have won 22 straight at UD Arena, seventh-longest active streak in Division I.
The Flyers (26-8 ) will now play #6 Providence in the East region this Friday in Columbus, Ohio.
