Starting pitcher Anibal Sanchez threw a two-hit shutout to help the Detroit Tigers earn a 6-0 victory over the Cincinnati Reds. It's Detroit's sixth win in their last eight games.
It was also the 7th shutout of Sanchez's career and his first complete game in over two years. Miguel Cabrera hit a two-run double and J.D. Martinez added a two-run homerun in the 6th inning.
Detroit will face Cincinnati in the second of their four-game series this Tuesday night at 7 pm inside Comerica Park.
