Starting pitcher David Price allowed one run in 6 & 2/3 innings as the Detroit Tigers scored six runs in the 5th inning to defeat the Cleveland Indians, 7-3.

Price (7-2) gave up nine hits, but struck out seven batters to go 9-1 in his last 11 starts against Cleveland, including a shutout at Comerica Park nearly two weeks ago. Miguel Cabrera took a bean ball with the bases loaded in the 5th inning to start a six-run marathon for Detroit, which included Victor Martinez's RBI single, Yoenis Cespedes' two-run single, and Nick Castellanos' two-run double.

The Tigers will look for the sweep in the series finale against Cleveland this Wednesday at noon.
