Tigers go 12 innings, but fall to Seattle, 3-2

Mike Zunino had an RBI double in the top of the 12th inning after entering the game in the 10th to help the Seattle Mariners to a 3-2 victory over the Detroit Tigers.
Detroit's starting pitcher David Price struck out seven batters and allowed two runs in eight-plus innings of work.
Up next for the Tigers (47-48) will be a long two-week road trip as they attempt to stay within the American League wild card race. Their first stop will be Boston for a three-game weekend series with the Red Sox, which begins this Friday nigh at 7 pm.
