Comeback fails as Oakland loses to Wright State in semis, 59-55

Mark Alstork scored 18 points and JT Yoho added 15 points -- including the go-ahead jumper with 24 seconds to play -- to lead the #3 Wright State Raiders past the #2 Oakland Golden Grizzlies, 59-55, in the semifinals of the 2016 Horizon League men's tournament. Wright State will face Green Bay this Tuesday night at 7 pm inside the Joe Louis Arena for the HL Championship.
Kay Felder led Oakland with 18 points on just 5-of-19 shooting while Jalen Hayes finished the night with 14 points & 10 rebounds.
With the #1 seed Valparaiso eliminated from the tournament, the Golden Grizzlies (21-11) will have to wait & see if their season will continue in the postseason.
