Central caps off wild game with come-from-behind win over WMU
Marcus Keene drilled a 3-pointer with 4.3 seconds remaining as the Central Michigan Chippewas rallied from an 18-point deficit to defeat the Western Michigan Broncos, 86-82, in front of a record crowd of 5,412 at the McGuirk Arena.
The win snapped a three-game losing streak against Western and it was just Central's second win in their last nine games against the Broncos.
Both teams will back in action Tuesday night when they hit the road for the state of Ohio. The Chippewas (15-8, 5-5 MAC) will take on the Bobcats while Western Michigan (7-15, 3-7 MAC) heads to Oxford to face Miami University. Both games are set to begin at 7 pm.
