Kunitz gets Penguins back in Stanley Cup Finals with 2OT goal
The Stanley Cup will stay in America for another year, thanks to Chris Kunitz, who scored 5:09 into double overtime to give the Pittsburgh Penguins a 3-2 victory over Canada's last hope, the Ottawa Senators in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
Kunitz scored twice (his first two of the playoffs), Justin Schultz added another goal in his return from an upper-body injury, and goaltender Matt Murray made 27 saves for Pittsburgh on his 23rd birthday.
After taking a few days off, the Penguins will host the Western Conference champion Nashville Predators in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals on Memorial Day.
