Bulls take down Heat in Game 1, 103-82
The NBA's MVP Derrick Rose scored 28 points and Luol Deng shut down LeBron James as the Chicago Bulls struck first in the Eastern Conference Finals by pulling away to beat the Miami Heat 103-82 in Game 1.
Deng had 21 points including four 3s, four steals & seven rebounds, while defensively holding James to only 15 points on 5-of-15 shooting.
Carlos Boozer added 14 points and nine rebounds. Joakim Noah had 14 rebounds to help the Bulls win the battle of the boards 45-33, including 19 on the offensive end for 31 second-chance points.
Game 2 will be played in Chicago on Wednesday night.
