Missed FG dooms CMU as Kent State escapes, 24-21
Spencer Keith threw for 281 yards and three touchdowns to help the Kent State Golden Flashes hold off the Central Michigan Chippewas, 24-21. CMU had a chance to force overtime, but David Harman's 28-yard field goal attempt sailed wide left on the final play.
Ryan Radcliff was 26 of 42 for 316 yards and three touchdowns for Central (3-7 overall, 2-4 in the MAC), but threw two interceptions in the process. Titus Davis had 10 catches for 192 yards and two touchdowns for the Chippewas.
