Michigan State outlasts the Milwaukee Panthers, 68-55

Draymond Green scored 18 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead the Michigan State Spartans past the Horizon League's Milwaukee Panthers, 68-55. Derrick Nix added 11 points for Michigan State (3-2), which has won three in a row after losses to #1 North Carolina and #6 Duke.

The Spartans turned a four-point halftime lead into a 13-point cushion with the first nine points of the second half. Michigan State shot 44 percent from the field, 31 percent beyond the arc and just 61 percent at the line—all slightly better than Milwaukee’s accuracy.
