Stuckey returns as Pistons slip by Trail Blazers, 94-91
After missing Friday night's game with a sore groin, Rodney Stuckey returned to laed the Pistons with 28 points as Detroit defeated the Portland Trail Blazers, 94-91.
Tayshaun Prince scored 17 and rookie point guard Brandon Knight had 14. Jonas Jerebko added 11 points off the bench and Greg Monroe had 10 points & eight rebounds.
Jerebko left with a bloody face after being caught by Craig Smith’s elbow while the Portland player was going to the basket with 7:46 left. Jerebko was called for a foul on the play and had two stitches on his lower lip.
Detroit held on for the win, depsite that they were without Ben Gordon (shoulder), Will Bynum (foot) and Charlie Villanueva (ankle).
