Pistons push Bulls into overtime, but lose, 100-94
Kyle Korver’s 3-pointer with 1:25 left in overtime provided breathing room for the Chicago Bulls as they held on for an exhausting 100-94 victory over the Detroit Pistons at the Palace of Auburn Hills. The win improved the Bulls to a league-best 22-8 on the road.
The Pistons failed to close out the game in regulation when Rodney Stuckey missed two of four free throws in the final 16.1 seconds. Derrick Rose sank the tying 3-pointer with 6.4 seconds left to force overtime.
Stuckey finished the game with 32 points for the Pistons while Charlie Villanueva made a surprise appearance off the bench to score 13 points.
