Pacers even series; Heat & Thunder take 2-0 leads
Amare Stoudemire left the building with his arm in a sling and what appeared to be a bulky wrap over his left hand, long after Dwyane Wade scored 25 points to lead the Miami Heat to a 104-94 win over the New York Knicks to go up 2-0 in the Eastern Conference quarterfinals.
The Indiana Pacers took complete control inside during the second half of a 93-78 win against the Orlando Magic in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinals to tie the series at one. Indiana grabbed 12 of the first 13 rebounds in the third quarter and outrebounded Orlando 26-13 in the second half.
Russell Westbrook scored 29 points and Kevin Durant added 26 in an off-shooting performance as the Oklahoma City Thunder squeezed out a 102-99 victory over the Dallas Mavericks to take a 2-0 lead in their Western Conference quarterfinal series.
