OKC sweeps Dallas; Paces & Spurs move closer, Clips win
George Hill hit a pair of free throws with 2.2 seconds left in overtime to help the Indiana Pacers survive squandering a 19-point 4th quarter lead to beat the Orlando Magic, 101-99 to take a 3-1 lead in the Eastern Conference quarterfinal series.
Chris Paul had 24 points & 11 assists and Blake Griffin added 17 points for the Los Angeles Clippers, who took a 2-1 Western Conference quarterfinal series lead in beating the Memphis Grizzles, 87-86, only after Memphis' Rudy Gay missed a 3-pointer just before the buzzer.
James Harden scored 15 of his 29 points in the 4th quarter, including nine in a 12-0 run, as the Oklahoma City Thunder rallied from 13 down with less than 10 minutes left for a 103-97 victory to complete a Western Conference quarterfinal series sweep of the now-former NBA champion Dallas Mavericks. With an early sweep, the Thunder will prepare themselves for either the L.A. Lakers or Denver in the conference semifinals.
Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili helped San Antonio fuel a 102-90 victory against the Utah Jazz that gave the Spurs a commanding 3-0 lead in the Western Conference quarterfinal series.
