Clarkson scores game-winner to help Devils past NY, 3-2
Martin Brodeur made 23 saves as the New Jersey Devils responded from a Game 1 loss in the Eastern Conference Finals and rallied for a 3-2 victory in Game 2 against the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden.
Devils forward David Clarkson scored early in the third period to break a 2-2 tie. It was his third goal -- all winners -- in the postseason.
With the series tied at one, New Jersey will return home to face the Rangers for Game 3 at the Pridential Center this Saturday afternoon.
