Pierce's clutch 3-pointer helps Celtics past Heat in Game 5
Kevin Garnett finished with 26 points & 11 rebounds and Paul Pierce scored 19 - including a clutch 3-pointer right in the face of the NBA's "MVP" with 52.9 seconds left - as the Boston Celtics earned a crucial Game 5 win over the Miami Heat, 94-90 to take a 3-2 series lead in the Eastern Conference Finals.
Boston trailed by 13 in the 2nd quarter, by nine in the 3rd, and by six with 6 minutes left to play. And every time, they answered - a 22-11 run to close the 1st half, a 15-1 run to end the 3rd, and a 22-12 run to end the game.
The Celtics will have a golden opportunity to finish off the Heat in the East Finals when they head back home to Boston for Game 6 this Thursday night.
