Pistons denied again as they lose to the Suns, 92-89
Rodney Stuckey and Greg Monroe were a combined 5-24 in the Detroit Pistons’ 92-89 loss to the Phoenix Suns at the U.S. Airways Center in the first of a six-game trip against the Western Conference.
Brandon Knight finished with 13 points & 10 assists and Jason Maxiell contributed 16 points & six rebounds. Phoenix's Michael Beasley and Marcin Gortat scored 16 points each. Gortat also grabbed 16 rebounds to lead the Suns’ 52-39 rebounding advantage.
Up next for the Pistons (0-2) is a trip to the Staples Center to face the Los Angeles Lakers, who also remain winless (0-3) to start the season.
