After a 14 inning game the Tigers refocused on playing a day game against a tough Seattle team but losing 2-0. Justin Verlander was a warrior on the mound allowing two runs in the seventh inning. Veralnder (2-2) struck out a career high 12 batters while giving up nine hits.
Detroit had five hits including one extra base hit, a double from Prince Fielder. After taking two of three in Seattle the Tigers face go to face the Los Angeles Angels Friday Night Game Time 10:05pm
