Anibal Sanchez pitched six innings and the Tigers bats were silent losing to the Twins 6-2. Minnesota put two in the first and one in the second for a quick 3-0 lead.

Sanchez (3-2) threw a lot of pitches early on then ended up with 115 with 75 being strikes. Down 3-0 the Tigers put two in the sixth inning on a RBI single from Torii Hunter and RBI double from Miguel Cabrera.

The Bullpen struggled with Bruce Rondon giving up a run in the seventh and Darrin Downs a homerun in the eighth inning. Rondon sent to Toledo after the game and Luke Putkonen has been recalled to be in uniform against Houston Thursday Night.
