Doug Fister lasted through three innings and the Tigers lose in Washington 5-4. Fister (4-1) gave up eight hits and five runs early on while Detroit down 5-1 throughout the game found power in the bat of Matt Tuiasosopo in the sixth inning.

With two on Tuiasosopo hit a pinch hit three run homer to cut the Nats lead to 5-4. Tigers bullpen were great allowing one hit striking out five in six innings of work.

Tigers road trip ended a 4-2 playing Cleveland at Comerica Park Friday Night Game Time 7:08pm
