Miami enters 3rd straight Finals with 99-76 win over Pacers
Dwyane Wade matched his postseason high with 21 points as the Miami Heat ran down the Indiana Pacers, 99-76, in Game 7 to remain Eastern Conference champions.
Ray Allen added 10 points for Miami, who earned their 78th victory of the season, matching the 11th-best, single-season total in NBA history. Miami led by as many as 28 points, despite shooting just under 40 percent, well below their normal average.
Making the NBA Finals for the third straight year, the Miami Heat will play the well-rested Western Conference champion San Antonio Spurs in Game 1 this Thursday night in Miami.
