Spartans go down hard at Wisconsin

It was a great day to be in the state of Wisconsin with the Green Bay Packers in the Super Bowl. And it was a bad time for the Michigan State Spartans to show up.

With "cheese heads" and Badger fans all over the arena, the Spartans were humbled by Wisconsin, 82-56. The Badgers were lead by Jordan Taylor, who scored a game-high 30 points, followed by Jon Leuer with 20 points.

MSU trailed by as many as 33 points during the game. Kalin Lucas tried to give the Spartans a boost with his 20 point performance, but it just wasn't enough. Michigan State will try to get back on track when they return home to East Lansing this Thursday night to face Penn State at 7 pm.
