Victorino's grand slam ends Tigers' 2013 season

The Red Sox loaded the bases in the 7th inning and Shane Victorino hit a grand slam homerun off Tigers reliever Jose Veras over the Green Monster as Boston turned a 2-1 deficit into a 5-2 win over Detroit in Game 6 of the American League Championship Series.
Tigers starting pitcher Max Scherzer allowed four hits, five walks, and three runs (two earned) over 6 & 1/3 innings with eight strikeouts.
The AL champion Red Sox will meet the National League champion St. Louis Cardinals in the World Series, starting this Wednesday night at 8 pm inside Fenway Park in Boston.
