The Michigan Wolverines came home to the Big House and won a 63-47 shootout against the Indiana Hoosiers. New records were set as Michigan recorded 751 yards of offense to quarterback Devin Gardner’s individual U-M record of 584 total yards to wide receiver Jeremy Gallon’s Big Ten record of 369 receiving yards. Gardner finished with 503 passing and 81 rushing yards, plus five touchdowns (three rushing and two passing).

The Michigan State Spartans remained undefeated in the Big Ten as they improved to 6-1 (3-0 Big Ten) with a 14-0 shutout of the Purdue Boilermakers (1-6, 0-3) at Spartan Stadium. It's MSU’s first shutout since 2011 against Florida Atlantic and first Big Ten shutout since 1999 at Northwestern. Plus with the win, the Spartans officially became bowl-eligible.

The Eastern Michigan Eagles dropped another cross-divisional Mid-American Conference matchup in its third home game of the 2013 season to the Ohio Bobcats, 56-28. With the loss, Eastern falls to 1-6 (0-3 MAC) while Ohio improved to 5-2 (2-1 MAC). Weighing in on the hearts of EMU was the lost of teammate Demarius Reed, who tragically passed away Friday. The team paid tribute to his memory by brandishing the #2 on their helmets and wristbands for the games.

The Central Michigan Chippewas were unable to hold off the #23-ranked Northern Illinois Huskies, 38-17, on Homecoming at Kelly/Shorts Stadium. Titus Davis and Andrew Flory both caught five passes for the CMU. Flory recorded 81 yards and a score, while Davis finished with 109 yards and his fifth touchdown reception of the season. Quarterback Cooper Rush finished 16-for-32 with 271 yards passing.

Senior running back Dareyon Chance totaled 120 yards rushing and freshman wide receiver Corey Davis hauled in nine catches for 103 yards as the Western Michigan Broncos lost to the Ball State Cardinals, 38-17. Redshirt freshman quarterback Zach Terrell threw for a touchdown and a career-high 204 yards. The Broncos played even with Ball State during the 1st and 4th quarters, but the Cardinals scored three unanswered touchdowns in the middle two quarters.
