Pistons hang on to defeat Nets at the Palace, 103-99
Greg Monroe’s short jump hook with the shot-clock winding down with 54 seconds left allowed the Detroit Pistons to avoid a collapse to snap a three-game losing streak by defeating the Brooklyn Nets, 103-99, at the Palace of Auburn Hills.
The Pistons took a 21-point lead in the 3rd quarter until the Nets rallied late in the 4th quarter. Monroe finished the night with 22 points & 11 rebounds while Andre Drummond had 22 points, 13 rebounds, and two blocked shots as the Pistons scored 60 points inside the paint.
Up next for the Pistons is a visit from the Portland Trail Blazers, which is set for this Sunday evening at 6 pm.
