Bills display dominance at Ford Field with 38-3 win over Jets
While the Detroit Lions were on the road suffering a 34-9 loss to the New England Patriots, Ford Field became the site of another Monday Night Foootball game as a result of 8-plus feet of snow in Buffalo, New York. This made the Bills host their game in Detroit as they dominated the New York Jets with little practice time, 38-3.
It was Buffalo's most lopsided victory over the Jets since a 37-0 shutout win nearly 25 years ago. It was also their second victory of the season in Detroit -- the Bills beat the Lions in early October. Plus, Ford Field not only has the honor of hosting two Monday night games in which the designated home won, but is also imfamous for not being the best play for a New York team. Along with Bills win, the Lions won their Monday nighter against the Giants to kick off their season.
With somewhat warmer weather in the area, the Bills will return home to Buffalo this Sunday against Cleveland while the N.Y. Jets will play their second Monday night game in a row as they host Miami. Speaking of returning home, the Lions will be back at Ford Field to host their traditional Thanksgiving game against the Chicago Bears at 12:30 pm.
