UDM's Rademacher sets new win record; WMU beats Trine

Redshirt sophomore Rosanna Reynolds led three Titans in double figures with a game-high 22 points and head coach Autumn Rademacher made history at her alma mater as Detroit defeated the Delaware State Hornets, 74-52, at Calihan Hall.

The win was #94 in Coach Rademacher's career as she now has the most victories in Titan history. Along with being third in school history with 1,686 points as a player (1993-1997), she has led Detroit to a pair of 20-win seasons, a trip to the 2012 WNIT, and the school's first postseason championship since 1981 when the Titans won the WBI (Women's Basketball Invitational) in 2013.

Rademacher's pursuit of win #100 continues this Saturday at noon when Detroit (5-5) hosts their in-state foe from Kalamazoo, Western Michigan.




The women of Western Michigan proved to be too much for the Trine Thunder as the Broncos rolled on for an 81-45 victory at University Arena.

WMU was led by Jessica Jessing, who finished with a game-high 12 points in addition to four rebounds, a steal, and an assist. AJ Johnson added in 10 points to go with a game-high five assists & three steals and Miracle Woods contributed with 10 points, six rebounds, and a game-high four steals.

Up next for Western Michigan is a trip to the Motor City when they visit Calihan Hall to take on the Detroit Titans this Saturday at noon.
