UDM women pull away to defeat Grizzlies; OU men beats UWM

Much like the men did a couple of weeks ago, the Detroit Titan women held their ground inside Calihan Hall to defeat the Oakland Golden Grizzles, 73-62.

Redshirt sophomore Rosanna Reynolds had a game-high 27 points & 11 rebounds to go with five assists & no turnovers. Senior Ellisha Crosby finished the night with 14 points and six rebounds. Sophomore Haleigh Ristovski had 11 points, seven rebounds, & two assists while freshman Darianne Seward contributed with 13 points.

This Saturday afternoon, the Titans will face their greatest Horizon League challenge when they host first-place Green Bay. Game time is set for 2 pm.

Corey Petros and Kahlil Felder scored 18 points each to lead the Oakland Golden Grizzlies to a 66-53 win over the Milwaukee Panthers.

Petros hit 8-of-15 from the field and Felder was 7-of-11, plus a perfect 4-of-4 from the free throw line. Dante Williams added 12 points for Oakland, who shot 53% on 51 attempts from the floor to extend their winning streak to three.

The Golden Grizzlies (8-12, 3-2 HL) will remain in Rochester to get ready for their Monday night Horizon League showdown with Cleveland State, which is set to begin at 7 pm.
