Juwan Howard Jr. scored 22 points and grabbed seven rebounds to help the Detroit Titans survive against the Youngstown State Penguins in overtime, 93-87. Freshman Paris Bass had 18 points & a career-high 14 rebounds while Anton Wilson added 17 points & seven assists. The Titans (11-12, 4-4 HL) will spend Super Bowl weekend on the road, beginning with this Saturday afternoon when they face Milwaukee at 5 pm.

Two days after being snowed in, the Michigan State Spartans rolled to a 71-51 road win against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. Brenden Dawson led the way for the Spartans with 17 points & 11 rebounds while Bryn Forbers added 18 points. MSU (14-7, 5-3 Big Ten) will return home to East Lansing for this Sunday afternoon's showdown with Big Ten & in-state rival Michigan at 1 pm.

Laurin Mincy scored 24 points as the Maryland Terrapins earned their 12th straight victory and remained undefeated in Big Ten play with a 91-65 win over the Michigan Wolverines. Cyesha Goree led U-M with 14 points. The Wolverines (13-7, 5-4 Big Ten) will start the month of February off on the road this Sunday afternoon against Nebraska at 3 pm.

Even though Peyton Apsey scored a career-high 23 points and Olivia Nash collected her second-straight 20-point performance, it was not enough as the Oakland Golden Grizzlies lost to the Wright State Raiders, 108-89. WSU shot 56% from the field and the 108 points was the most allowed by Oakland in the Division I era. The Grizzlies (9-10, 3-3 HL) will stay in Rochester this Saturday afternoon to host Cleveland State at 3 pm.
