Pistons spoil Smith's return with 114-104 win over Houston
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope scored a season-high 28 points, including 12 in the 4th quarter, as the Detroit Pistons held the Houston Rockets, 114-101. D.J. Augustin added 28 points and 12 assists for Detroit.
Former Piston & current Rocket Josh Smith was booed throughout his return to the Palace of Auburn Hills, just more than a month after Detroit waived him. He finished with just seven points & seven rebounds, shooting only 3-of-11 from the field. The Pistons snapped a four-game losing streak while ending Houston's four-game winning streak.
Detroit will be back on the court at the Palace this Tuesday night to take on the Miami Heat at 7:30 pm.
