Red Wings lose lead and shootout to Ducks in Anaheim, 4-3
The Anaheim Ducks rallied by scoring three goals in the 3rd period after trailing 2-0 and came away with a 4-3 shootout win over the Detroit Red Wings, despite two goals from Pavel Datsyuk.
Riley Sheahan scored his 10th goal of the season for Detroit and goaltender Jimmy Howard finished a frustrating night with 22 saves.
The Red Wings will go next door to Los Angeles at the Staples Center to face the reigning Stanley Cup champion L.A. Kings this Wednesday night at 10:30 pm ET.
