Quick shuts down Red Wings on retro night in L.A., 1-0

Los Angeles, sporting their yellow retro uniforms, won their 8th game in a row with goalie Jonathan Quick earning his 4th shutout of the season as Justin Williams' early power-play goal was just enough for the Kings to come away with a 1-0 victory over the Detroit Red Wings.
The Kings handed Detroit their third shutout of the season and Wings' goaltender Jonas Gustavsson stopped 26 shots in just his fourth start of the season.
After taking a day off, the Red Wings will be back in action this Thursday night when they face the Sharks in San Jose. Game time is set for 10:30 pm ET.
