Red Wings get back on track with 5-2 win over Edmonton
Riley Sheahan scored the go-ahead goal in the 2nd period and battle-tested goaltender Jimmy Howard made 36 saves as the Detroit Red Wings snapped a two-game losing streak with a 5-2 victory over the Edmonton Oilers.
Niklas Kronwall, Teemu Pulkkinen, Justin Abdelkader, and Pavel Datsyuk added goals to help Detroit send the Oilers to their fifth straight loss.
The Red Wings will be back on the ice at the Joe Louis Arena this Thursday night against Columbus at 7:30 pm.
