#7 Michigan State holds on to eliminate #10 Gerogia, 70-63

The #7 Michigan State Spartans were forced to grind out the last few seconds of the game to defeat the #10 Georgia Bulldogs, 70-63, in the 2nd round of the NCAA tournament behind veterans Denzel Valentine and Travis Trice.

Michigan State led by 12 points with about 90 seconds left in the game before Georgia rallied to make it a one-possession game. Valentine scored 16 points and Trice finished the day off with 15 points.

The Spartans (24-11) will move to the 3rd round of the East region to take on #2 Virginia this Sunday at noon.
