Ducks hold off Blackhawks to win & take West Finals lead, 2-1
Goaltender Frederik Andersen made 27 saves and helped Anaheim kill off five powerplays as the Ducks held on to defeat the Chicago Blackhawks, 2-1, to lead the Western Conference Finals, 2-1.
Defenseman Simon Despres scored his first career playoff goal for the Ducks in the 2nd period. Patrick Maroon also scored and Ryan Getzlaf contributed with two assists.
Game 4 is set for this Saturday night at 8 pm in Chicago.
