Tigers choke on last out as Twins come back to win, 8-6
With two out in the bottom of the 9th inning, Brian Dozier hit a three-run homerun to cap a seven-run rally that give the Minnesota Twins an 8-6 victory over the Detroit Tigers.
Minnesota scored seven times in the 9th inning off Joakim Soria & Bruce Rondon after being limited to just one run by Detroit's starting pitcher Justin Verlander, who went 7 & 2/3 innings.
The Tigers will attempt to rebound from the collapse against the Twins this Saturday afternoon at 4 pm.
