Rough night at Comerica Park as Tigers fall to Red Sox, 7-2
David Ortiz homered while Hanley Ramirez & Xander Bogaerts added two-run doubles to lead the Boston Red Sox to a 7-2 victory over the Detroit Tigers.
J.D. Martinez hit his 30th homerun for Detroit, but starting pitcher Daniel Norris lasted just 3 & 1/3 innings after allowing five runs and nine hits with only three strikeouts.
The Tigers will return to the field at Comerica Park against Boston this Saturday night at 7 pm.
