Tigers' last home game of season ends in defeat to Twins, 7-1
Byron Buxton doubled in the Twins' six-run 2nd inning and hit his first career homerun in the 8th inning as Minnesota came out with 7-1 victory over the Detroit Tigers, who played their last home game of the 2015 season at Comerica Park.
Detroit's starting pitcher Randy Wolf (0-5) gave up six runs on seven hits and a walk without getting out of the 2nd inning.
The Tigers will finish out the rest of the season this coming week on the road as they travel to Texas to continue playing the role of spoiler when they take on the Rangers in a three-game series. First game is set for this Monday night at 8 pm.
