Green Bay's late 2nd half surge downs lady Titans
In the last regular season game, the Titan women wanted to make a statement against the Phoenix of Green Bay, but it all came crashing down late in the 2nd half as the Titans were blown away, 68-48. Detroit kept it close to the point they tied Green Bay with less than 10 minutes left. But then, after the next six minutes, the game went from a tie to a 20-point lead for Green Bay. Brittany Murphy led the Titans with a career-high 16 points, but Green Bay shooting 63% from 3-point range made the difference.
The Titans (12-17) now focus their attention to the 1st round of the Horizon League Tournament when they face Valparaiso this Monday night at 7 pm from Calihan Hall.
