Oakland & WMU women win; Men lose; UDM women fall to 0-4

Olivia Nash posted her first double-double of the season scoring a season-high 17 points & 13 rebounds while adding five assists to lead the Oakland Golden Grizzlies to a 83-73 road win over the Norfolk State Spartans.
Oakland had four players in double figures, led by Nola Anderson's game-high 21 points, along with Elena Popkey and Sinclair Russell, who added 16 and 12 points respectively.
The Golden Grizzlies will begin their Horizon League season early when they return home to Rochester to host Youngstown State this Saturday afternoon at 3 pm.
