Branden Jennings returns, but Pistons fall to Knicks, 108-96
Carmelo Anthony scored 24 points and Derrick Williams added 18 points as the New York Knicks held Andre Drummond to only nine rebounds in defeating the Detroit Pistons, 108-96.
Drummond had double-digit rebounds in nine consecutive games and in 14 of his previous 15 games. Ersan Ilyasova led the Pistons with 19 points while Marcus Morris & Reggie Jackson each scored 17 points. Jackson also recorded nine assists.
The Pistons will return home to the Palace of Auburn Hills on New Year's Eve (this Thursday evening) to face Minnesota at 6 pm.
