U-M women slips past Penn State; Big Ten men fall on the road
The Michigan Wolverines led by as many as 17 points and hit 13-of-14 free throws in the final 49 seconds to defeat the Penn State Nittany Lions, 91-87. It's U-M's first win at Penn State in nearly 15 years.
Sophomore Katelynn Flaherty led Michigan with 23 points on 5-for-10 shooting from the floor, including going 4-for-5 from three-point range. Freshman Hallie Thome scored 18 points on 8-for-9 shooting and senior Madison Ristovski finished the day with a season-high 15 points.
The Wolverines will return home to Ann Arbor to face their arch-rival Ohio State at the Crisler Center this Thursday evening at 6 pm.
