Goaltender Ben Bishop made 24 saves to earn his 100th win with Tampa Bay and Nikita Kucherov scored his 21st goal as the Lightning defeated the Detroit Red Wings, 3-1, to start the 2nd half of the season.
Gustav Nyquist had Detroit's lone goal and goalie Petr Mrazek made 20 saves as his seven-game road winning streak ended.
The Red Wings will try one more time to earn points in the sunshine state as they head to Sunrise to take on the Florida Panthers this Thursday night at 7:30 pm.
