Red Wings break 5-game home losing streak vs. Islanders, 5-1
All-Star rookie Dylan Larkin had a goal and an assist, goaltender Petr Mrazek made 28 saves Pavel Datsyuk helped out with two assists as the Detroit Red Wings broke their five-game home losing streak in defeating the New York Islanders, 5-1, for their first win at the Joe Louis Arena this year.
Tomas Tatar, Tomas Jurco, Mike Green, and Kyle Quincey also scored for Detroit, who hadn't won at the Joe in over a month.
The Red Wings will continue their five-game home stretch against Florida this Monday night at 7:30 pm.
