Defense dominates as Denver wins 3rd Super Bowl championship

Von Miller earned MVP honors by helping the Denver defense sack Panthers quarterback Cam Newton six times as the Broncos made just enough big plays to defeat Carolina, 24-10, to win their third Super Bowl title and first since 1999, when John Elway, now general manager, was the quarterback.

Playing in what could be his final season, Peyton Manning became the first quarterback to win Super Bowls with two franchises (Indianapolis & Denver). Head Coach Gary Kubiak became the first to win a Super Bowl as player and as a coach for the same team.

As the Broncos & the city of Denver celebrate, the rest of the NFL will get ready for the draft in spring, as well as banner night in the Mile High city to start the 2016 season.
