Danny DeKeyser and Henrik Zetterberg scored early in the 1st & 3rd periods to help the Detroit Red Wings move to 2nd place in the Atlantic Division with a 3-1 victory over the Ottawa Senators.

Goaltender Petr Mrazek made 22 saves for Detroit and his bid for a second straight shutout ended with 2:24 left in the game when Ottawa's Zach Smith scored. Darren Helm sealed the win with an empty-net goal about a minute later.

Up next for the Red Wings at the Joe Louis Arena is a matchup with their old rivals, the Colorado Avalanche, which is set to begin this Friday night at 7:30 pm.
