Zak Irvin hit a go-ahead 3-pointer and a pair of free throws in the closing minute as the Michigan Wolverines pulled out a 67-62 victory over the Tulsa Golden Hurricane in the last game of the First Four round.

Irvin finished the night with 16 points for Michigan, who had four other players reached double figures.

The #11 Wolverines will now head to Brooklyn, New York as part of the Field of 64 to play #6 Notre Dame this Friday night after 9:30 pm ET. Though the history of the two teams is well known in football, this will be the first time U-M has faced the Fighting Irish in NCAA Tournament play since 1976.

OTHER FIRST FOUR SCORES
- Florida Gulf Coast 96. Fairleigh Dickinson 65
- Wichita State 70, Vanderbilt 50
- Holy Cross 59, Southern 55
