Justin Upton helps Tigers get back on track vs. Royals, 6-5
Justin Upton hit a two-run homerun with two out in the 8th inning to help the Detroit Tigers earn a 6-5 victory over the Kansas City Royals.
Upton also doubled in J.D. Martinez in the 2nd inning for Detroit. He now has seven homers and 18 RBIs in his last 14 games.
The Tigers' next road trip will be in Chicago to take on the White Sox in a 3-game series. The first game is set for this Monday (Labor Day) at 4 pm.
