Tigers continue to slip away after 11-4 pounding by Cleveland
Mike Napoli drove in four runs -- two on a gift double and two on a ball that bounced out of Progressive Field -- as the Cleveland Indians stretched their lead over Detroit in the AL Central to seven games by defeating the second-place Detroit Tigers, 11-4.
Justin Upton hit a pair of homeruns and drove in all four runs for Detroit, who missed another chance to gain ground in the AL wild card standings.
Now three games out of the wild card spots, the Tigers look to regain momentum when they face the Indians again this Saturday afternoon at 4 pm.
